The documentary exposes the dark side of real estate speculation and shows that restoration and transformation are real alternatives. It offers a way to change our scale of values ​​through activism and direct democracy and the way how it is possible to break out of the vicious cycle of demolishing historic buildings and building new ones instead. The film follows experts across Europe who show how demolition practice wastes our homes, jobs, energy and history.
