Description:

It is not easy to speak of climate change without stepping into stereotypes. “Tempodacqua” brings together collective fears and represents the dominant theme “Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” The phrase is taken from the Ecclesiastes and it expresses the importance of giving and receiving.

The video speaks of the “cycles of existence”, the times in which water gave and took. The story focuses on the idea of time that repeats itself, emphasizing the important moments, the thresholds between different times. It is necessary to introduce a slow time alongside the frenetic time that everyday life imposes on us. In order to do that, it is necessary returning to observe, listen, to look at the invisible. It’s reality. It’s magic. We stop in front of the invisible and begin to feel the force of gravity of time, all its depth and stratification, the fact that it is a time between times.
