Screening of the documentary film: The Red and The Grey Matter - New Architecture in Africa

The film follows the work of architects in Dakar, Niamey and Accra, looking at their use of earth as a climate-friendly alternative to grey concrete.

The film explores how sustainable architecture, rooted in traditional and local knowledge, can shape the future of building on the continent and beyond.

The screening will followed by a Q & A with the director Willie Schumann.

Following last year's great success, we once again invite the fantastic jazz students from Skurup's School of Music. They have composed music for five short films and will perform their work live in front of an audience. These five experimental masterpieces explore the relationship between movement, light, and music, created by some of the 20th century's greatest names in experimental cinema.
